Food and Fiber Risk Managers (FFRM) is an agency created by the American Sheep Industry Association to serve the insurance needs of U.S. sheep producers.

   FFRM specializes in selling Livestock Risk Protection for Lamb (LRP-Lamb) insurance policies that provide protection against unexpected lamb price declines.

   FFRM also sells insurance policies for cattle and swine.

Eligibility to Purchase LRP-Lamb

LRP-Lamb is available to qualifying sheep producers and feeders with sheep in all counties of the states highlighted in orange. One must own the lambs when the insurance is purchased. The lambs must be owned up until 30 days prior to the ending date of the contract.
